Jack died early Friday morning at St. Luke’s hospital after a short illness. Mrs. Jack was born in Champion coun ty, Illinois^Feb. 9, 1868. She and her family came here from Day ton, Ohio in 1912. Mrs. Jack is survived by a son, Hugh L. Jack of Tryon and a daughter, Mrs. Laura J. Greene of Hendersonville, and the follow ing grandchildren: Roy, Rachel, and Elizabeth Jack, and Hope Greene. The body will be at McFarland’s j Funeral Home until 1 p. m. Sun | day, April 6. Funeral services will be held at Columbus Presbyterian Church at 2:30 p. m. Floyd C. Dyer Floyd C. Dyer, 58, veteran of World War I, passed away Thurs day at 5:30 p. m. at Moore Gen eral hospital. He was born in Polk County and is survived by three sons, Ezra, Waitsel and Floyd Al va all of Mill Spring; a daughter, Mrs. Junior McGuinn, Lexington, N. C.; a brother, Walter Dyer of Detroit. Funeral services will be held at Big Level Baptist Church, Satur day at 2 p. m. with Rev. Clingham Craig, Rev. Paul Stepp and Rev. Lewis Griswold, officiating. Bur ial in the church cemetery. Mc Farland in charge of services. The Baptist Brotherhood will meet tonight at 7:30 at the Bap tist. Church.
